Hello apples!
The previous pin colors did not translate well into actual Pantone colors for manufacturing. So we switched it up! Pretty awesome to see this wild design by Ryan Lesser evolve.
It will be coming on a card with two rubber backings and 1.5" in size. If you still want to snag one, I've left surveys open. You can head here to retrieve yours or alter an existing order: https://pineapple.backerkit.com/
I'll be asking the factory for a timeline on both the pins and games, so once I have that, you will too. Metal pineapples are all done and just waiting for a home <3

Manufacturing Update!

Short but simple update. Manufacturing will be starting next week! Also, I am getting quotes on air freight because boat container space is extremely limited and kind of silly for such a small game. Stay tuned for more developments as they occur.

Which bag size?

Hello apples,
The final physical sample is in! You can see the new back below. Also, I have a choice in front of me and wanted to hear your thoughts. There are two bag sizes. One is very snug and the other very roomy.
The snug one does this silly thing of damaging the card corners every time you take the deck out. I hate it.
The larger bag does not have this problem, but it is pretty large.
I'm very much leaning towards the larger bag, but the sticker needs adjusting. What do you think?

We are so close to hitting print! Here is what I just received. d20 for scale.
NOTE: The packaging will have a sticker on the front but it wasn't ready for printing.
The sample looks super solid. A few changes I'm making after seeing it.
Increasing card thickness from 300gsm to 315gsm
Adding a linen finish
Moving to a more sturdy ivorycore
Potentially increasing bag size
Changing the card back design
The first card back turned out to be overly simplified. Here is the change.
The pattern is a big improvement when compared to the vast white space on the original back. It will also help distinguish the front from back faster.
Once Chinese New Year is over, I will be receiving a new back, the packaging sticker, sample cards to ensure proper quality, and an uncut sheet of the cards with new backs. And if all looks good, production will begin.
